Chassis Repair Rechnician

  • You will be responsible for repairing the chassis of heavy vehicles involved in accidents by dismantling, replacing, and reassembling suspension and chassis components. You will also ensure the quality and compliance of the work performed.

TASKS

  • Diagnose chassis problems using a laser system;

  • Disassemble and reassemble various parts of heavy vehicle equipment;

  • Using hydraulic tools, straighten the chassis of a heavy vehicle so that it is level.

  • Use lasers to verify that the frame is straight and make adjustments as necessary.

  • Handle heavy tools and components (sledgehammers, hydraulic jacks);

  • Operate a rolling point;

  • No work on the engines;

  • Any other related tasks.

  • Attention to detail and meticulousness;

  • Resourcefulness and independence;

  • Team spirit and collaboration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have worked for two years in a workshop in the heavy vehicle sector;

  • Basic knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanics;

  • Knowledge of steel welding is an asset.
